Framers Training Programs

Framers Training Programs

FARMING has always been the most important economic activity in India. According to government statistics, more than half of the population of India depends entirely on agriculture for a livelihood, and most of these are small and marginal farmers. Factors like poor infrastructure, lack of modernisation and declining productivity have hampered Indian farmers from breaking out of the cycle of debt and poverty.

Farmers’ training means to educate and train farm family in their own environment and to equip them to meet with emerging problems of farming. The transfer of modern agricultural technologies to farmers with pre-conceived thoughts of traditional farming calls for a well developed and organized training programme for farmers. Training is a critical input for the farmers for quick transfer of technology and a way to improve their agriculture and thereby their socio-economic condition
